New outlet for Farkels
« on: July 30, 2014, 08:59:09 PM »
Hi guys, just wanted to let you know that I now set up as an installer dealer for MC Cruise in Brisbane.
I am looking to help those out that need a new set up installed or have some gear that needs to be fitted to your bike.
I am able to create brackets and other items for various bits and pieces.
It's not a full time venture just after normal hours.
New email is farkleit@gmail.com
Drop me a line if you need something
I have a bike lift and many tools and skills
Cheers Brian.

That would have saved me and the great MCC guys a bit of time on the phone after I installed mine and couldn't get it to work.  It was a while ago now, but as I recall, between us we found a short in the wiring.  With Brian here in SEQ I could have had it diagnosed less painfully.
I know he isn't planning to do stuff for the love of it, but it's better to have an OzSTOCer on the job who knows about farkling, than trying to get help from a dealer or amateur.
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

That's a brilliant email address :D
Maybe the people organising the next years Rally could pimp your services for a couple of days if anyone attending needs a little something something done
