I must admit that I watched very little of the Commonwealth Games, but did watch a fair slab of the Closing Ceremony. Kylie and Lulu's parts were over-rated, and for me the most moving part of the Ceremony was when the Commonwealth Flag was surfed over the heads of the athletes, with many just letting it slide over their fingertips, while Karen Matheson sang the beautiful folk song "Ae Fond Kiss".
