Roadside Rest Area
« on: August 06, 2014, 09:23:52 AM »
I recently found this well equipped rest area beside the dirt road from Mildura to Lake Mungo National Park in SW NSW.   Note the Desert Pea in the background.

Is that Sturt's Desert Pea?  I thought he was dead.

As for the contents of the beer bottle, I think I'll leave that for the next bloke after what I've just witnessed!
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

The cap was still on the beer, but it was certainly safe from being consumed by us.   Others may not be so fussy.
