My farkling is now complete.....
« on: August 08, 2014, 03:01:40 PM »
With my MCL Highway Blades fitted, I now consider my farkling to be complete. (unless of course I find something else that I need)   :p

My overall strategy has always been to keep the bike as stock looking as possible, as I love the clean lines of the bike, and yet have the gadgets and comforts that I need for our travels.   I think I have succeeded in that aim, with the only "in your face" addition being the Dually driving pattern LED lights, which were a compromise between small form and high light output.  Everything else is deliberately low impact in it's appearance.   I've updated my impressions of the Sargent seat at ....   http://ozstoc.com/index.php?topic=6250.0     For my complete farkle list, see the following link:   http://ozstoc.com/index.php?topic=4592.msg49041#msg49041

Farkling is never truly completed, by its nature theres always something new coming onto the market to tempt you, nice work Pete but we'll see what you choose to buy next.

For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

...in that case John I think STevo's 1100 is a lay down misere for the award in 2014...after all it's unquestionably the most farkelled ST ever scene on this site, or the old one for that matter :-X

Just a thought.

The can :-)

She looks the goods  :thumb

There's nothing stopping you doing FarRides and IBA's now  :think1

I think I better wash my bike, she's still dirty from Ballarat  >:()

I agree, but struggle to find the time between trips away and other commitments at home.   (Coffs, Tassie, NatRally, Tennant Creek to Cairns, etc)  l guess I won't get any sympathy.  :grin     I've now managed to get the cockpit photo into my original post.

I washed mine after recent trips, and after the Border Run it still need cleaning yet again. Should have left it alone.
