I was sitting on a footpath bench outside Safeway an hour ago, just in trakky daks and tee shirt, no bike gear.
Three guys were standing by two Harleys, less than ten feet away, and the younger guy was bemoaning that he had not got his bike back from a garage 30 Km away yet. He said he had broken down on the side of the road, and some stuck-up guy on a Honda just rode by and ignored him.

I raised my voice, and said "I am that 'stuck-up' guy.... Why don't you tell the whole story, about how you gave me the finger in reply to my friendly wave, as you overtook me some 10 minutes earlier?... its pretty bloody obvious why I ignored you... at least I have some manners, and didn't give you the finger in return!"

Could almost feel the heat as he flushed red.... Caught out! ... His two friends agreed with my actions.....
