Saw this on on Friday morning to to work. I am stopped at traffic lights and in the offside mirror I noticed a wanna be gangsta kid riding up the inside on his bmx. Black hoodie on, white peaked cap poking out from underneath. You know the type.

Anyhoo  He happened to be sending an obviously important text as he was riding along. Very clever.

Well that is until he drifted into the gutter. In the hurried attempt to regain his now seriously compromised balance he threw out his left arm. The left hand having the phone in it. Sadly the grip on the phone was not what it could have been and he hoiked it about 5 meters into the window of a Subway. it hit the glass and dropped onto the concrete footpath.

The first action was not to rescue the phone but to look around and see who was watching. As he looked in my direction. The tears rolling down my cheeks and the uproarious laughter told him.  "yeah mate I saw it all!"

Too painful to watch some.  There had to be "hospital" in some of the reports.  The over-the-cliff job might mention "morgue".
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott
