My Missus has just finished day 1 of a 2 Day course to get her Lp. Shes happy as pig in sh1t. Hasn't ridden before, but keen, so recommended she do this under professional guidance. Tomorrow is more train train train then test. Hasn't dropped the scooter so a big plus, very happy. Had a look at a few scooters and settled on the Suzuki Burgman. Nice bike, wanted to stay with the big three. See what happens................................. :wht11

As for the changes in Laws, the only thing that I would like to see is compulsory advanced training within 3 months of  issue. Which should be funded by the TAC. If they are serious about road safety that is. Do`nt believe that a Govt department should be there as a money grab, all should go back to  driver/rider training as this is why they are there, arn`t they? Like most things though we will take care of it ourselves........ :wht11
Only ever ride my own ride, helps me to stay above ground!

Banning the use of phones even with a hands free kit is making one law for bikes and another for cars.  That's not the least bit fair.  :well  :well  :well
I acknowledge hardworking Australians no matter who they are or where they come from. All those who have contributed to this wonderful country deserve an equal share of gratitude for their contributions. To single any group of individuals out for special homage only denigrates the rest of us.

Now that would be hard to detect.. As phone is in the pocket (well it might be on a RAM Mount in GPS mode) There is nothing to indicate that its in use.
