Hey all I thought that I might post this G search link here for those riders or pillions that may be having
a few neck aches on a long ride.

I use one due the my problem but I am sure  the benefits to others using the same thing will be similar.

inflatable cervical collar

the resulted search will give many choices, I actually got the cheapest on from China thru Ali express.

You're supposed to Google "inflatable cervical collar".     :p

I have had a sore neck for 20-30 years, had an op 3 weeks ago and all fixed, the C5 and C6 vertebrae where pinching the nerves, numerous xrays in the past failed to pick any thing up

So at what age does this "old enough to know better" kick in?

So Tipsy, have you got one of those 3 bag inflatable collars?  Looks like a small truck compressed air bag jack?

I suppose you inflate it after you've put your helmet on until you feel it support your neck and take the helmet's weight?

Does the inflating bulb stay on the unit when wearing it?  I suppose you can tuck that away through your jacket collar?
At my age you realise something very important, then ten minutes later you've forgotten it.
