The day started out a bit cool, around 8c in Canberra, but the forecast looked ok. The roads were wet to damp in most places, but I managed to avoid the rain (but the rain got me back in the end big time on the ride to the Bunya Mountains RTE in Queensland). Norm's brave forecast for no rain was ok for me, not as much for those heading North. From Nowra to Nerriga and back to Canberra was a nice ride in good weather. The road is now fully sealed from Nerriga towards Goulburn and Taralga, but they have not built the new bridge as yet. Something about it being started in the wrong spot so negotiations have to be done.
