I've been in contact with Matt and Dee at the Caravan Park, and they're very happy to host us. When making a booking, mention that you are part of the OzSTOC group, and they will try to keep us close together.

It's pretty early, but so far we have....

I wont be able to attend this ride now.

Hi Guys,

I just spoke with Dee and made my booking.

I got a "Standard Ensuite Cabin" for the Saturday and Sunday night. Hopefully it will contain my snoring

so I apologise in advance if that isn't so.

Time to get fit.
I will plan it better in the next few weeks but I expect to be leaving Saturday morning around 3 to 4 am with 15 minute breaks

every hour (roughly) so as to arrive by around 3pm.

This is my first long distance ride. To-date my longest ride has been around 550kms and I've been totally fine with that.

I'm going to be in Canberra the weekend before for Wall to Wall, so I'm making arrangements to go to Balranald for the 19th/20th.

Accommodation sorted. Booked in to the Capri Motel for Saturday night. Only a couple of rooms left. Must be something on in town that night.

Going to bimble around Victoria for the week on the way to Balranald.

My plans are coming together and I'm going to take a circuitous route to get there.

First will be 3 days ride to Canberra (saaz) via Tamworth, Dungog and Sydney.
2nd will be Canberra to Melbourne via Jindabyne, Koscuizko, Khancoban and Albury.
3rd will be Melbourne to Portland (Kev Murphy) via the Great Ocean Rd
4th will be Portland to Adelaide (StinkyPete) via Mount Gambier
5th leg is Adelaide to Balranald.

Homeward, I'm hoping to continue to use the OzSTOC Bed, Shed & Fed network. Sicman and ST2UP and Pockey, looking at you.

Looking for a bed friday/saturday night if anyone has one spare.
Also pondering a camper trailer purchase also so may end up camping.

I'm booked into the Capri Motel for Friday and Sat night because there were no cabins when I booked.

The rates at the Motel were cheaper the the Caravan Park.

I will see what pans out closer to the date.
Someone may cancel or i might have a camper trailer by then.Route there & back is flexible also.
Looking forward to being on the road for 8 or 9 days
