*** Venue change:

Due to inclement weather the venue for todays RTE has changed to:

VNW Resort
(Gadget's place)  :runyay
Kallangur


BYO meat and drinks.
(Coles and butcher just down the road at the corner of Gympie Rd & Nellies Lane, Kallangur)

Christmas 2015 - Mary Cairncross Park - Maleny - Saturday 12th December



Location:

Time:
10:00 am Morning tea
12:00 pm Lunch

In addition to our beautiful rainforest the Reserve features a recreation area with gas barbeques and a playground for the kids. The large grassed area is great for kicking a ball and you can enjoy your picnic on one of the many tables surrounding the area.

Why not complement your picnic with a takeaway coffee from the Mary Cairncross Cafe?
Cafe open 8.30am to 4.30pm.  During winter (June-August), cafe closes daily at 4.00pm and is closed on Mondays.

Our recreation area also features the Don Sands Butterfly Walk and Richmond Birdwing Butterfly Viewing Platform. The teaching deck serves as a great venue for talking to medium sized groups.

 

So you can choose to Bring your own meat and fixings for a BBQ, get morning tea, coffee, cakes or Lunch from the Cafe.
