Reason for abuse?
« on: December 06, 2014, 06:25:36 PM »
Yesterday on the way home, after a long day, i pull up (in my car) next to a bloke trailering a late model charcoal grey Suzuki 1000R.

The lights were long as was the traffic and I viewed his bike with mild interest as it had very muddy tires and sides and had no rego plate.

The driver (35 year old Aussie bogan male in a white ford ute) stared at me for a full minute and then started screaming a torrid rant of abuse directed at me!

I was to tired to reply, so i just locked the car doors and watched him go bezerk! He gunned his engine and tore out in front of me, bike wobbling behind him..

short answer, he was likely effected by ICE or similar... long answer he was born a D-Head and hates the world....?

So sad that I have to share a generally peaceful and beautiful country like Australia with people like him. No justice in the world...  :'(

Nothing like living in a dream.....

It never used to be this way once. You can draw many straws as to what happened to change things.

A Bogan on meths.
In a Ford ute.
Towing a dodgy looking bike.
Bogan goes berserk a drives like a lunatic.

Dunno why you didn't offer to buy him a drink.  There's a fair few like him- maybe in the majority before much longer.
They breed too, you know.  Best make friends with them!    Wot thuh
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

You did the smart thing - pull your head in and let him go.  He will bump heads with someone else just like him, and get his comeuppance.  That's what I always tell myself when I see some lunatic in the traffic.  Don't know if it happens, but it makes me feel good. 8)
