Well it looks like we are first to need a swap.
I bought a XXL for me and a XXXL for Chris.

I can use the XXXL but would prefer to try a XXXXL.

We need a new home for the XXL

Hi all out there in Jacket land,  I have a 2xl thats too tight for moi need a 3xl, just pm me to arrange. It seems that the sizes are on the small side so there wont be too many swaps down list only up, so some will miss out. If I cant get a bigger one then this one will be up for grabs  :cuss. No reflection on the crew that put these together though, a fantastic Jacket.................Thanks All ... :wht11

I have my beautiful new ozSToc jacket size 5xl for sale.
it arrived today, has been tried on and is too small ..
Bugger , damn and poop....

will swap for a 7xl if yours is too big.

Let me just say what a great concept this club jacket was, to the guys and girls who dreamt it up and put the plans into place, well done..... unfortunately the measuring tapes at the factory appear not to be calibrated to the Australian metric system.... no ones fault at this end, thats for sure..?..
 Anywho.. i
Im in Goulburn NsW! If you want to call me and come and try it on first.

$100.00....

regretful sale, would rather have the jacket.....

No. I wont be posting it to you, to avoid the same problems, you MUST try it on first ..... sorry guys...

People may have measured themselves correctly, or have been measured by a Tailor, or went to Zen direct,
BUT, by the sounds of it so far it is the linings that make it "snug".

Hopefully everything will work out with the exchange programme for those that need it.

Nothing  to do with measuring correctly.  I went to Zen, later bought hoodies XXL, perfect. XXL is my size in everything. Tried on at Zen dririder sized jacket so XXL should be ok. Well XXXL is not big enough. It wasas I tought in the beginning. Needed to try actual samples on. Slim and small cut.

I understand how difficult that may have been so we have this situation. Most people need 2 sizes bigger.  Perhaps small or medium people are more likely to be ok but not all it appears.

No reflection on Mark at Zen or organisers from me. Clothing sizing is a lottery sometimes with different brands and styles etc

Love the new jacket that just arrived.
Hasn't Streak & Co done a great job researching them.
Well done.

My jacket is a 3XL & is a little tight around the arm pits.
Would love to swap it for a 4XL or 5XL.
If i cannot swap this jacket, then it will have to do.

I ride with only wearing a t-shirt under my jacket. I'll admit it snug with the liners in but that's a good thing. And assuming you all played with the adjustment straps etc??? Not having a go,  just curious

I agree with comments about the quality of the jacket but side by side with the current jacket it is definitely smaller.    I will take it to the RTE tomorrow otherwise I have one 3xl (actual  size would be large) up for grabs.  I even had the wife do the measures whilst I was wearing a jumper as I like a loose jacket. .  Richo

Hi Chaps,

I think the manufacturer put on any size lable, think we will have to measure sleeve lengths and waist measurements of each jacket to get the REAL size..

Good idea from Ralley, it does seem that the sizes are some what random.  Side by side with the current jacket there is no comparison.  Comparing the various sizes against each other in the club jackets would be interesting.  Whilst they are a custom order they should conform to a uniform size, ie a xxl should be bigger than a L in the same jacket.  If they can not meet this basic test it may get interesting.  I will measure the size ordered to the size delivered.

Hi Chaps,

just measured my dryrider jacket size 3xl aganst my Zen 4xl

NECK                                            440 mm    Zen neck  420 mm
waist                                            1200mm   Zen waist 1100mm
length of sleeve under arm           530mm    Zen 500mm
Width across back shoulder seam 600mm    Zen 530mm

So from that the ZEN 4 XL is about the size of just a normal XL jacket (or at least my one is)

I guess this is why the ladies bitch about dress sizes being not uniform from designer to designer.

A common problem it seems. I normally take a 2XL and measures twice and ordered one up and bought a 3XL and its far to tight for comfort. I can get the zips done up but that makes breathing problematical.

I have one 3XL to swap or sell, cost plus shipping (I live in Melbourne if that helps). I need a 4 or 5XL I think.

Concept Discussion  - Mass Jacket Exchange
It seems that most people are reporting that their new jackets are quite snug, so here's a concept that might be worth exploring at the National Rally, or at large State events.

Every one with a jacket that they wish to exchange lines up in size order, with their jacket on the ground.  Everyone moves forward one size.   The majority of members will then have a jacket that fits well.   Those who still don't achieve one that fits, may sell  through the OzSTOC Forum.   If our largest member with a jacket looses theirs, have a $4.00 whip around at the exchange which can go that person who under this process finish up with no jacket at all.

This is simply a proposal for discussion and some polishing.

at this stage I have not received my jacket, which I ordered a 2XL, I was the crash test dummy of the Trial Jacket which was a Large.

I am waiting for my jacket to arrive, and I will try it on, and take it from there.

as I will have the prototype vs the real deal.

as we have people we are really happy with their fit and others a small fit.

so I am waiting for the jacket and I will look from there
