Fellow was watering his lawn....
« on: February 11, 2015, 06:47:34 AM »
... when he saw two council workers approching along the footpath. Each was carrying a spade. They would stop every 20 metres, one would dig a hole, and then the other would fill it in. When they reached the mans house, he curiously asked "Why are you digging these holes, and then filling them in again?" One worker leaned on his shovel, and replied "Well, we're usually a three man team, but Bert has a rostered day off today... its HIS job to plant the trees!"

Unionists!! Typical!

For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott
