NEW CHEVROLET CORVETTE.
« on: February 13, 2015, 09:46:53 PM »
Here's something for you to drool over. The speedo they show
in the film does not register anything below 40mph.  I guess that should
give us a clue.
At 1244 hp it's more powerful than the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport.
So here's a fun couple of minutes for You.  Fasten your seat belt!
When you drive a Chevrolet Corvette powered Hennessey Venom GT you don't
shift into fourth gear until 160 MPH!  The top speed is incredible!
I was torn between watching the car tear down the runway and watching the speedo climb

I wonder what it costs?   :eek
An ST1300 can do half of it's eye popping top speed and can cost as little as $6,000.   That make my bike much better dollar per top speed value, and I can go on holidays on the ST.   ++

And Bert Munro did nearly half the same top speed wearing sandshoes on an ancient Indian motorcycle with pistons he melted down from his own recipe of scrap metal.      :rofl
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott
