Hi all, just thought id share this among the members on here.
I have in the last 6 months started going to the MCC (motorcycle council of NSW) meetings. These guys are the people you can thank for the lane filtering laws and are currently pressuring the RMS into allowing the European standards for helmets to be acknowledged here in NSW (among many other things). For the small sum of $35, one can join them which entitles you to many discounts, like 10% off every purchase at repco, but also allows you to get a greenslip from Monaland insurance. I've recently had to register my YZF1000R and spent sometime comparing greenslips. The cheapest i could get was with AAMI for $390, all others were around the $450 mark. Monaland supplied me a greenslip for $277. A substantial saving!
Now the good part is after speaking at length with Kevin from Monaland, he is willing to offer all NSW OZSTOC members the same discount! without needing to join the MCC. All you need to do is when you go to the website, select the MCC greenslip option, state OZSTOC as your "nsw club" and submit the form. Kevin will then contact you to get the finer details and you're away!
