:rockon Very well matched staccato music to the interval video technique. Having the camera down low emphasises the road geometry. A cam up high highlights the scenery. Sure is flat country out that way. How many hours riding did the video cover? Also noticed chopped out engine noise in favour of clearer backtrack music. Video clarity is very good. Xpensive camera?

Time lapse needs to be slowed down for playback otherwise it plays back at around 25 frames a second in this case meaning about 47 seconds for 1449 shots. Playback seemed best for the 7 minutes plus that you saw. I went through my music files to find something that would be as close as possible to the video length and then added the titles each end.

With time lapse there is no sound recorded and the track I selected seemed to suit all the sun shots that came up.

At the moment that's the best mount I have and it's only good for time lapse at highway speeds. I have another mount coming which I can mount on the mirror housing. The helmet mount I have is okay but I think is more suited to built up area rather than the open road.

About two hours or around 160km

YouTube clip was saved at 720p and the camera is a GoPro Hero 4 Silver edition.  http://shop.gopro.com/hero4/hero4-silver/CHDHY-401.html

As usual, a meticulous, interesting reply. OnyaM8Thnxalot!  :thumb
The new mount will b interesting. I would use the left mirror coz that would include more Aussie scenery and more of the left-side road. Agree?
My current mount is central and moves with the handlebars and therefore is very similar 2 what I'm seeing. The elastics reduce vibes and press the cam against a padded dashboard which increases smoothness. I'm xperimenting with a cheapo cam that is not 2 bad.

LH mirror position is my aim at the moment. Also after another camera housing which will allow connection to the power supply while still recording so battery life won't be an issue.

I'm also looking at different locations on bike and trailer to mount the camera for when I do the 2016 WA trip.
