I have just completed replacing my timing belt,fuel filter,spark plugs, air filter, speedo cable(thanks to service centre),oils and fluids and clutch slave cylinder. I read and watch what is occurring on the forum learning more each time I log on. So thanks for all the shared experiences and mechanical knowledge that is free to use when you decide to go it alone. Great confidence boost
I have had my ST since new 95 and have only had it serviced by Honda service centre. I was blown away at the amount of cross threaded bolts and screws I found during my cost saving overhaul.

Good to hear    It would be interesting to know how many have owned their early ST1100s from new (1300s are more to have been). Apart from yours, I know that Greencan has owned one of his from new.
