Wanted - ST1300 OEM Rear Seat
« on: April 17, 2015, 06:20:12 PM »
I'm looking for an OEM Rear ST1300 seat that I can modify as a luggage rack.

Never get rid of your old stuff, as my old OEM rear sat gathering dust and spiders for a couple of years before I sent it to Wombattle, and now I'd like get my hands on another for my current project.

I hope you're not going to destroy a seat to use the frame and attach points!     :-(((

Hopefully you can make up a frame that mimics the seat's attach points to build your rack on.

I have a spare front and rear OEM seat ..........

...... but I think I'll take that advice and hang on to it, 'cause you never know when I might need it.

Having said that, it is available for a loan to be used as a template for somebody to fashion a rear rack or similar.

Sorry, but I thought wrong. I have 2 riders seats and only one pillion. I want to keep one of each incase I decide on a Russell mod. I did find a long lost Katana rear wheel though.....
