Everyone seems a bit critical of how your bike should be set up, red and blue lights, yellow lights, when they should,be on when they should be off, what markings should be on your bike and so forth.
Each state has different laws in this regard and that's what we need to abide by, not people's opinion.
To be a Moto Marshal for the cycling races you need to volunteer your time, your bike needs to be roadworthy, you don't need any extra markings or flashing lights, however f you choose to do that who cares so long as it abides by the traffic law of the state your operating in.
Come along and give It a try, it's a lot of fun, your contributing to the community which a lot of money is being spent.
Don't be critical of those who are giving it a go, what lights they run what livery is on their bike it's not important, just get behind them as money raise goes back to our club.
