Blue Vs. Red
« on: June 15, 2015, 03:50:59 PM »
Blue, as almost everyone knows, is superior in every way to red.

However, some people are confused as to why, so I figured I could clear it up.

•   Blue comes before Red in the dictionary.
•   Blue comes before Red in the thesaurus.
•   Blue has a shorter wavelength than red and is therefore more solidly in the visible spectrum.
•   All the coolest people own Blue ST’s
•   Links (interesting things) are blue, while warnings (bad things) are red.
•   The sky is blue. Lava is red. The sky is much cooler than lava.
•   You can feel blue, but not red.
•   Blue is artistically cooler colour than red. Everyone wants to be cool.
•   Water is blue, so you can hide in it on the blue team, but are obvious on red.
•   Lava isn't transparent. You ‘can’ hide in it ….  but you will die.
•   Red shows dirt more than Blue …. Blue is therefore cleaner. Blue ST’s are cleaner than red ones!
•   Many people have blue eyes, but only demons have red.
•   Red is on stop signs. No one likes stop signs.
•   Blue is on other kinds of signs that don't get in your way.
•   Blue inspires creativity, while red inspires fear.
•   Blue apparently can travel further than red due to its wavelength.
•   Blue is more subtle and less harsh.
•   Blue sounds nicer than red.
•   Blue dye is more valuable than red.
•   Blue is better.
•   In a naturally generated world, blue is more common than red.
•   Wikipedia states:
o   Surveys in the U.S. and Europe show that blue is the colour most commonly associated with harmony, faithfulness, confidence, distance, infinity, the imagination, cold, and sometimes with sadness. In U.S. and European public opinion polls it is overwhelmingly the most popular colour, chosen by almost half of both men and women as their favorite colour.
o   This shows that blue is a deep and important colour. It also shows it is better.
•   red represents communism, blue represents freedom. The communists lost. So does red therefor lose.
•   Blue has more letters and therefor stands out more on the scoreboard.
•   There are more bluish wools than reddish.
•   Blue isn't on stoplights. Nobody likes stoplights, particularly red ones.
•             Red heads are often referd to a Blue, or Bluey. Why ..... because Blue is cool. Everyone wants to be cool.
•   More books are blue that red.
•   Red is associated with hell and all that nasty stuff.

I hope this clears it up for you guys.

If I missed something that shows how much better BLUE is than red, let me know.

You seem quite desperate to validate your choice of blue.

Scarcely a mention of blue or red in association with motorcycles, which is the real issue.

I think the association with sadness is the most appropriate of that melange of arguments.      :p
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

spanner mate!
Your poetic streak gave me the blues! Blues as in being sad. A very negative emotion, that!

But then I thought about my RED Steed and instantly cheered up. RED is all about PASSION and I'm passionate about my RED Steed. There you go.

But what are the poor riders of white and black ST's say about this I do wonder...... :dred11 :13Candy :candystwheelie

Body parts going blue ...... try yellow and falling off... then you're in real trouble.
