My best mate Barry  (some of the WA regular attendees would know him) had his Ninja 250 stolen last Sunday (14th June) from his carport.
Well around 9 tonight he got a call from the police letting him know his bike had been "found".
Some guy was riding it when he got T-boned with stolen plates on the bike. Ignition /steering lock had been smashed and a switch had been installed to start bike easier. On questioning from police he said he bought it from Gumtree just this morning. Apparently he has badly broken hip and a few other problems.
Karma .... Enough said.

All too rare that justice is so quick and efficient.     :thumb

Now Barry can visit him in hospital and rub it in.

For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

I think if I went to buy a bike that was rigged like that I'd be a bit sus.... And then make a call to the police. So one can assume it's BS as a normal person would also find it to be BS

Yup. Unfortunately they would not tell what hospital the guy was in. Guessing Swan Districts but who knows ... anyway he is now the proud owner of a lovely bit of kit ... Honda CBR650F  .... at least it is the right brand.
