Seems like he is going on, the bike does not seem to have suffered major damage. So hopefully it is just normal fatigue management from now on for whatever ride he is doing.

Thankfully he got past Gnoorea (-20.837218, 116.403609) without getting infected!

Here is the post from Mrs Wombattle regarding the roo.....
"So this is Mrs Wombattle. Unfortunate encounter with a kangaroo may have brought an end to the ride. Craig is unhurt and continuing to ride carefully toward Port Hedland. From there will assess what to do. Has also been in touch with Bill. And, the kangaroo hit the front tyre - he did not hit the kangaroo! Bike stayed up too."

Inspiring to watch .....
I was fortunate enough to be seated with Lionel and TJ189 at the National Rally dinner.
Two people who have inspired my foray into LD Riding. Watching Wombattle now is really great to see.
Glad all looks to be OK after the roo.
If you need a coffee close to where you will enter Perth (if coming here) give me a holler.
I have PM'd you my mobile number.

Wombattle is out. Front end damage too great, and will limp into Perth today.

Safe ride Craig.
At my age " getting lucky" is remembering what I came in the room for ;)

If Craig goes to the Hondashop, ensure that he speaks to Chris in parts and let him know he is a member of Ozstoc.

Plan now is to make it to Perth, then ship the bike home.  Broken plastic and bent front forks, but he's still sitting on IBA pace....

Wom arrived at Shell Daly St in Darwin 2 minutes behind his ride schedule, 23 hours for the 2700km.  He's a machine!

Really glad Wombattle is OK but there are one or two kangaroos out there (one or two hundred or maybe one or two thousand)

Did some quick calculations based on the information in the first few posts. There may have been a slight creep over the speed limit at some time, no probably not  ;-*  ;-*  ;-*
I acknowledge hardworking Australians no matter who they are or where they come from. All those who have contributed to this wonderful country deserve an equal share of gratitude for their contributions. To single any group of individuals out for special homage only denigrates the rest of us.

What speed limit in the Territory?

It varies.  Wendy has the details.

Wom is safely at a FarRider's home in Perth with an SS4000 under his belt from Darwin, completed on an injured ST13.

It varies.  Wendy has the details.

Wom is safely at a FarRider's home in Perth with an SS4000 under his belt from Darwin, completed on an injured ST13.

Normal speed limits within town limits, 130km/h on major highways, and about 200km of unlimited from Alice Springs to Barrow Creek.

See, we do have limits...

Although you can safely sit on 104-145 in the 130 zones.  The cops tend to be pretty reasonable as long as you're not doing anything stupid.  Wom sat around 134.
