Hi from Roger & Lenna ; we are based in Toowoomba - back on a bike again after some years - all thanks go to David (Diesel Dave)- our very encouraging and patient brother.
I got an invite to the annual Ozstoc rally - held up here March - didn't have a bike at that time - spent half the day on the back of David's 1300 - the other half on the back of a white three wheeler (Paul - from Vic ?) - I had a grin on my face from one ear to the other
To say it was an awesome day would be an understatement ! - best of all - the great people you get to meet and talk to!
Have got a bike now - not up to the st1300/1100 standard - got a Vulcan 800 classic ;2002 model with a screen and saddle bags; this is now my daily transport;
went to a RTE at Esk a couple of weeks ago and had a great time. Its about an hour and fifteen from home - had a good run down and back- but as I ambled up the driveway at home I started to roll backwards, didn't get my feet down fast enough, and down I went,the bike and I right in front of my place!! Fortunately nothing broken - but I must have given the neighbours some entertainment !
My little wife stands about 5ft and a little bit , and I'm about 6ft 2- so the Vulcan suits the two of us pretty well
