Sad news today. MYST was assessed after the altercation with a roo near Broome and has been written off. Over $12k of damage without measuring the frame.

Now I'll have to sit back and think about what I'm going to do with the cheque when it arrives. But for now I'm STless

Sad news, but you'll have to buy another bike that has "ST" in the make or model so you can use your plates . 

Plus you have the long range tank for another ST1300 

And you rode her 2300km after the accident with 12K worth of damage

I am sorry to hear about anyone losing their bike.  On a positive though it does show how tough these bikes we ride are.   High speed impact with one of the worlds dumbest animals and arguably muscular animals and you can still ride for couple of thousand kilometres.   What other bike could accept this punishment and get the rider home safely.  A testimate to your riding skills as well.  Ihope you can get a suitable replacement MYST2.
