National Rally Packs
« on: April 05, 2016, 07:34:03 PM »
I'm seeking your input on what you want in your National Rally Packs in the future.... :think1

There has been some feedback that the Rally Pins are a needless addition and perhaps people should simply pay for what they want in a Rally Pack  :think1.....naturally as soon as we decrease the amount of items we order for Rally Packs the dearer the individual items may become.

So you could not pay for what you don't want, but pay extra for what you do.

Currently the Pack has a Rally T-Shirt, Cloth Patch and Rally Pin in addition to what ever the local teams add.

Keep it the same, with shirt, patch and pin.   While I'm not a huge fan of patches and pins, I know that many really like them.    Needing to make up custom Rally Packs may cause some problems.

I agree with Shiney & Johnnyted.  The local groups can add other useful info from their tourism organisations.

Was there a rally pin for Perth?  I didn't get one in my pack.

Keep the pack as is.

Some collect patches and pins from rallies they attend, others dont. They can always be given to a friend who wants them.

Supplying a Polo National Rally shirt is a very real option, would add between $10-$12 dollars to the overall Rally pack cost......this would be providing a quality Polo from a reputable manufacturer.

Having been to the last 4 national rallies i would like to see the packs remain the same - it's a bit of a tradition i guess.
I am open to the idea of a polo shirt and would be happy with the addition of a commemorative tea towel & spoon  :p

I think ppopeye was trying to quote this to agree.
I'll add my vote to that.  I had this discussion with Streak years ago regarding the OZSTOC shirts.
Us reading glasses wearers love carrying glasses and sometimes pens in our shirt pocket.
All mine have clips so they don't fall out:

Missus Biggles likes giving me shirts as gifts, and knows what I look for first (after checking it has at least a bit of blue in it!).
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

30/31 of those voting have asked for the National Rally packs to remain the same with Shirts, cloth patches and pins, so I'm confident we can call this poll closed with an overwhelming result.

The polo shirts seam to also have lots of support with good reason, if members would be more enclined to use a polo shirt regularly than a t-shirt occasionally for a few extra dollars  :think1  :wink1
