What stood out for me was the head gear. The mock accident victim wasn't wearing any head protection, a number of those riding into the alleyway and dismounting were wearing just cloth caps and goggles, and the few wearing any PPE at all had only leather helmets. But, 1952 or whatever only had 52 road deaths.
What a different time, motorbikes seemed to be a major means of transport, look at the number of bikes with sidecars on them that appeared through the film.
