Having a sit down in Tambo park eating a can of road heated baked beans.  Have had to let them cool down!

 :rofl

apparently Tambo is 'famous' for being the site of the first QANTAS crash.   :o

The things you learn reading plaques!   :grin

Going well mate!  Looks like you've got the heat beat.  Should start cooling down soon.

Right .... according to my calculations..... which are never good at the best of times I can grab a quick snooze for about 4 hours and still have 2 hours up my sleeve for the run to the finish line.

I'm thinking my next secret spot will be a good place for a quiet lay down.

It's not to long to get there.  Nudge nudge wink wink.   :p

Thanks for following so far.

time for a stretch and back on the beaST

Yep- speed display has been back for a while.
Interestingly, my 'puter/browser displays Kph in his info box.

Might leave you for awhile and grab a short nap. ... and I haven't been riding a bike all night and day?

(By the way, there's a great bakery/coffee shop on the main street at Barcy)

At the Barcaldine Country Motor Inn?
You deserve a bit more than a bum break...

Well that blew two theories!  He's off again, for one, and heading west (it's slightly longer that way) for another.
He's obviously got a plan, and is managing to stick to it.   :thumbs

There's rain forecast for the eastern route and for his homecoming.

Lost him there for 10 minutes, thought he might have pulled up in an IBA Hotel that's near where he was, but he's away again.  He'd been up around 110, and dropped back to 95, so I figured the roos might have been spooking him but he's steady on 100 now.
