:dred11 :Spyder
I want to get panniers floor boards and a higher screen
Leo thats the same screen as mine on BEEstY and I just added a Laminar Lip to the top and it took away my turbulence.

Thanks
I think mine is a bit lower but wider
I want it also for rain protection like the Cal Scientific screen I have on the ST1300

Home from holidays I got the Spyder out of the shed and caught up with some mate for a ride to Pittsworth for lunch
A training ride, I test rode it then rode it home after I bought it. Very different than the ST1300 and will take a bit to get used to. Probably only did 120km all up but I had to come home and look in the manual how to put it in reverse
ST riders won't understand this but sometimes wish they had one. Then how to turn on cruise control
Next time I will be all schooled up luckily I didn't get cought anywhere. The screen as I thought is to low so I will look at options.
Like Gadget said you don't need to hold on tight and just let it do it's own thing.
So I will continue short rides till I get used to it before I venture out for a decent run

You could have given me a call on selecting reverse and setting Cruise Control.

I fitted the BAjaRon’s custom performance Sway-Bar this morning
Hoping for a big improvement in handling
I’m off to Gympie on Saturday and doing the Mary Valley Rattler train ride on Sunday morning
Will let you know in the ride report how it went

Just so you know Pete, mine came with the Baja-ron swaybar, metal links (to replace the plastic ones to the sway bar), and Baja-ron adjustable front springs, fitted by the previous owner.

There is an Australian company (The Rabbit Works in Campbelltown, NSW) makes a similar swaybar, and metal links. Fagan, the owner, has several Spyders.

You want a sway bar for the Beemer?
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

She already sways nicely through the corners thanks, and while I can still do that well, I won't be changing.

After fitting the Baja-ron sway-bar before the ride to Gympie
The sway-bar did make a difference to my Spyder but I was expecting it to be better
I tried a few different tyre pressure's
So still a work in progress
But I am out cruising the highways so am happy  :hatwave

I found 20 to 22 PSI in the fronts gives a light and responsive front end.

I have lashed out and purchase myself a brand new Can Am RT Spyder Limited
I took my Spyder F3 down to Brisbane for a service
To kill the time I  took the RT for a test ride, they said take your time as their is no hurry. Well it worked
I finally worked out a deal/trade so I pick up my new ride on the 20th Dec just in time to put under the Christmas tree 🎅
