Same here on my 1100, speedo is on par with ADR regs and varies between 5 to 15 kph compared to GPS depending on speed. Odometer compared to the GPS is on par...not much to worry about.

I usually get 400 kms until reserve light but my worst figure gave me about the same as Saaz (360 kms to empty) with most of that two up, towing a trailer and at 100-110 kph. I usually aim for the nearest fuel point to 350 kms on the trip meter.

Maybe next time, it surprised the hell out of me that he could get the Michelins. I live in W.A. where not much stock ( if any ) is kept. Everything is a "couple of weeks" from the East!

I did PR2 front and rear tho in 170/60/17 rear and one day wait too get in local bike shop gosnells $490 fitted

Yep, already factored in for the wildlife! Doing Bunbury across to Norseman in the dark this time, then the sun in my eyes across the paddock

Charge my Farkling batteries
Get the hell out of Perth!

Only 2 more sleeps for me!

Still planning on early to mid arvo Tuesday ( W.A. time ) departure, for a middayish arrival Thursday ( S.A. time )

Good plan to have a day to spare for a longish trip like that. Takes the pressure off.

If your coming thru the Riverina be careful after 4pm and before 8am. We got over 360 points of rain

last week and its got the skippy's on the move chasing fresh greenery (which has been rare around here).

I am looking forward to having Streak and friends stopover Tuesday night. Anyone else that needs a place to stay is most welcome.

I just booked the to and fro accommodation so now its down to finishing work Wednesday, travelling Thursday to Ouyen, overnight there before doing the last few hours Friday morning. I suppose I better look at packing some gear and being ready for Thursday.

Ride safe - I dont want to do any work on my days off

Bike is all packed except for last minute additions. New Shark Evo 3 has the comms setup (boring white - all the tough guys bought the StroTrooper version!). New Dainese boots ready to be tried out. Just need some petrol, so better remember that. Spoke to Diesel this morning, he was just leaving maccas in Fyshwick for his trip through the mountains. Only a few hours to go....

If you are coming up from Mt Gambier, I suggest that you cross the Ferry at Wellington, just south of Tailem Bend, and head to Middleton from there. It will cut out some highway work and put you on some nice back roads. See http://goo.gl/maps/M663U The ferry is free and operates 24 hours.

Well after are great day and 510km later Cerebral (Duncan), Shiney (Dave), and myself had Lunch with ST2UP on the way through Guyra, Dinner with STeveo here in Tamworth, and we are all now in bed recharging for a fantastic day tomorrow!

Well its 7.46 in Orange and I am about leave for Hay.should be there about 6pm
Had one prob yesterday when GPS decided to vacate the bike after a serious bump in the road.
did quick slow down and u-turn all was looking good until prime mover managed to change things' bugger
brought new on in Dubbo'
