Ha! I wouldn't be surprised if you tried to wangle out a reccy over Xmas Stringo. I reckon we all have itchy throttle fingers!!!     :rofl

Hi all.  I'm a possible starter for the Blackheath gathering, and if I look like I'm free to go, I'll book an unpowered tent site in the next couple of months.  How many people have expressed interest so far?
Cheers
Pete

Looks like about 22 so far Pete - It should be a hoot!

See you there!

Cheers, Diesel

Negative, my good man...I'm busy slowly building up my Arse muscles. I'm up to 6 hours with 1/2 hour stop before I need a new arse. So by April I should be good to go. :D

Now is a good idea. I may go for a nice loop ride up there just to check it out.

HI,
At the moment it looks like we might be going to this. I'm going for my HR licence as I have possible work in Kalgoorlie early next year and may not get the time off.
Otherwise we'll just hook up the trailer for a leisurely two day run over.

By the way, anyone coming over from the west should be going through my home town of Peterborough and you might like to check out the local Motorcycle Museum

John Baker,  jwbeng245,will be attending the national rally and will bring the ST1100 powered JZR three wheeler. I have booked an unpowered campsite for one as the cabins seem to be booked out.

Just thought I'd mention I was in Mudgee recently and we happened to purchase some wine from Robert Stein Wineries.  It dawned on me that this might be a good spot for the Saturday lunch ride for the OzSTOC Rally as its only 2 hrs from Blackheath.  They have an undercover area with BBQ and their motorcycle museum for added atmosphere, not to mention it's right in the heart of a very picturesque winery.

I don't know if they cater for groups or how expensive it is but I'm just throwing it out there if your stuck for ideas.  Here's a link if your interested in checking it out:

Evenin' All...

Just a quick note to find out if anyone has a couple of spares bunks left before I give the Guys at the campground a call.

Cheers Greencan :)

I have my name down for one of the new cabins, so will check how that is going. All beds taken unless someone pulls out.  Should be a few spare beds between us.
