WA riders UHF Poll
« on: February 01, 2014, 04:22:14 PM »
For the WA Riders, do you have a UHF radio, if so how many channel.

This query comes about after the Dwellingup RTE, where the channels being used were fairly heavily used. The result will help in picking a clearer channel for rides.

Always happy to test something. So I am not the only one where the air intake hoses from the front of the tupperware just terminate in the engine bay behind the air filter .....   :think1 Seems rather strange.
If i can get up the motivation i will take all the plastic off this week sometime and get some photos.

They are not the air intake for the engine, they were put there to put some cool air beside your knees! ( wierd, but true! )

mine are supported to the base of air filter to get air to the inlet, there is no way air can get out to your knees.
I apologise to Brock for getting off subject.

OK back on subject.  :fp  We need 2 channels for comms. One for an 80 channel and one for the 40.  :think1  After Dwellingup and the overflow from ch40 to ch39 it was suggested ch50 and ch26. it would be good for Ballarat so we can call on the way and during the run.
my 2c  :grin

Brock we need at least a 5c for comments

If we have a channel for 80 and a channel for 40, how do we know who we are going to talk to?, especially if it is a mixed group.
And I am not doing this for 5c.

If there is a bike with a 40ch set, we will just stick a 50 on the dial.. :grin :grin

really, we will just drop to 26...

50 is very quiet..
