Sunday morning arrived crisp and inviting.
Three turned up at the Caltex in Byford. Turtle, a.k.a. Ben on a 1100p, Simon on a FJR 1400 and myself, 1300a.
Left at 7.50am, headed south down South West Highway.
Turned left at the Collie turnoff. Up through the Collie hills, past Wellington Dam. When we got to Collie we turned south towards Bridgetown/ Donny Brook. The air temp gauge on my bike moved between 15 and 20 degrees as we moved through the hills.
Lunch was at 12. It was amazing to see so many bikes on the road. I even got passed on the crest of a hill, with double white lines by a lady from Warnbro Wanderers.
Simon left from here to go home.
Ben and I continued on our adventure.
Next stop Gnomesville.
We parked up the bikes and went for a wander. When we got back to the bikes, mine had been taken over by gnomes. Obviously the blue colour attracted them.
Could this be one of the moderators?Time to hit the road. Headed north via South West Highway again.
Total kms 560.
Thanks Turtle.
