Another reminder that if you are looking for a mid-week morning tea ride to somewhere, cast your message here to see who takes the bait.   :thumbsup

Are they all at the same venue? Depending on COVID19 restrictions, I hope to get over that way a few times in 2022.

Initially they were planned for the Pommegranate Cafe at Birdwood on one Wednesday morning per month.    However that has gone by the wayside, and we now encourage anyone who's looking for a mid week ride to post a Day and Location, and see who takes up the offer.

If you make if over here, we can post a mid week run to Strath or the Finnis Cafe, both of which are great locations in the Fleurieu region

OK, I'm planning to ride to Birdwood tomorrow (Pomegranate Cafe) for a coffee at 11am. I'm catching up with a mate riding a Beemer R1200RT and any OZstocer who is free tomorrow is most welcome to join us. With future commitments up until NYE, this is likely my last "proper" ride for 2021 (and I might add, I'm not going to be sorry that to see the back of 2021).
Cheers ... Mark

Sadly I have a shift with a long first half tomorrow so that rules me out.  Have fun.

I've changed the name of this thread to better reflect it's intention.

If you feel like a ride for a coffee, or want to suggest a short notice RTE, please post it in this thread.
e.g.   An impromptu summer evening get together at Cafe de Villi's

This Cafe is now Permenantley Closed

I've only just seen this.  It turns out my friends sold the business in april 2019.  I didn't even know that until today.  We did our not the national rally there the previous august.

I rode what was the Pomegranate Café on saturday.  I didn't go in, but it's now operating under the name of The Fold Café.

Saw this on Facebook in the Honda ST1300 Owners Australia & New Zealand group:

"Hi ST owners, we have formed a small group of Honda ST riders, basically for those residing in Adelaide and suburbs to get together for casual rides, (not being a club in any form). If there are any ST owners who would like to join us, just send me a PM for more information. Most of us are retired and are flexible for either mid week or weekend rides."

It'd be great if they could join our merry bunch and boost numbers for our RTE's. Probably best an ST rider breaks the ice before us heathens (non-current ST owners) frighten them away.  :grin

I've inserted a link to this page and another respondent also noted the RTE's.
