Personal friend of mine lives in Port Macquarie. He did some research and located where my bike is in storage in Birchip. I now have a phone number.

All good mate. Panel shop said that the frame is straight, and forks are only slightly bent, the rest is just tupperware and mirrors damage.
Will organise recovery when I am in a bit better condition than at present. Will assess it when I see it.

Yep, Dave, all covered. the bloke turned left to park from the right lane, failed to give way to traffic approaching from behind in the left lane.
(did not look, indicators do not give you right of way)

Kev, I've just been reading about your 'off'. So sorry to hear about that, and hope you get that knee replacement sooner rather than later. Bikes can be repaired a lot easier than us, especially at our age. Repair quickly mate

Amazing that the ST only bent the forks a bit, but completely ripped the wheel off the fourby!

Not good to hear. I suppose it has to happen sometimes with the "quality" of some of the drivers on the road. Hope you mend OK.

Hope you get stitched up asap.

It's right on four months since a dozey taxi driver turned across a lane of traffic to turn right into a side street and I came off on the low side avoiding his taxi. He pleaded guilty and is being sentenced in a week or so for careless use causing injury and failing to stop at the scene of an accident. I'm scheduled to see my specialist next month about getting the 3 out of 4 rotator cuff tendons that are torn stitched back together.

Bikes can be fixed or replaced, but take care of yourself Kev

Thanks Steve, I have an appointment on Wednesday for referal to a surgeon for upcoming knee replacement.
Had to sleep in my computer chair for 3 days, as I could not get in or out of bed.
Spent last 4 days in bed but managed a short walk today with the aid of two canes.
Best of luck with your recovery/repair as well, mate.
