On Streetview it looks like it would best be driven in a fourby, despite once having had some bitumen on it. Maybe they just laid a single run of seal and haven't touched it since.
The one creek crossing I looked at on Streetview was just a culvert, with quite a lot of water running over the road, so it's not a wet weather road, quite apart from the muddy surface.
Amazing they sent the Streetview camera car along it, really, when I look at more likely candidates for filming.
BTW. You know how you often wish there was a shot halfway between shots- e.g.a letterbox number? Apparently the camera records an image every 2.5 seconds.
FWIW, if you have time to kill, go look at some of the world's remote countries, e.g NE Russia. It's also instructive to note the countries that forbid entry to Google's camera cars.
