Whatever happened to that guy on the Forum who borrowed a set to try and reverse-engineer them?

Hi Biggles,
They have been returned to Peter just last week and a big thanks to him for the opportunity to at least try and have them made here.
BUT they would have to be made on a multi-head Auto Milling machine to which there are none within this area.

We tried as far as Townsville- Mackay and couldn't find anyone. Brisbane/ Sydney/ Melb maybe.

First you need someone to have a laser reading design machine to produce a disk, then take that to the Multi-head machinist to setup for production. Cost aprox $3,000, production would need to be a min.. of 100 units. Then there's the anodizing and assembly costs.

Need I say more. Believe me I have tried..

Now for the good news, The tip-over bars are still on there way. With all S.S. materials supplied and production expected within the month!!!!!

Sorry but I tried B

And by the way there was only a hand full of possible sales that showed interest.

That makes the ones from the States @ $280 a pair cheap!  Someone over there has got the set-up, but obviously not the motivation.
It's a darn shame, because even owning a pair doesn't guarantee you're set for life, because if you have a tip-over with one extended, it bends (understandably) but unlike steel, it doesn't bend back straight.      :-[    DAMHIK

Hi Biggles
Where can I get them from in the states for $280??????
And if anyone can give me a contact NUMBER, EMAIL ADDRESS or WEB SITE I'd like it.
I've sent 7 emails to them at 2 different addresses and tried phoning on numerous occasions. With no reply, returned emails with not responding and if you Google the address there is no signage for that address its a postal distribution house.
If you phone local dealers and wholesalers none of them know where they are now or if they are even open.
Talk about frustrating.  B give me a call 0412 445 966.

If MCL is referring to Motorcycle Larry Inc they closed up shop some time ago...daughter had tried to run the business after his passing but it all got too much..pity because they had some great gear
One day you will wake up and there won't be anymore time to do the things you've always wanted so do them NOW!!!
Remember there are 7 days in a week and Someday isn't one of them!

Yep "gone-cruising"- that's the one, and that's why I alluded to the equipment being there with no-one willing or able to operate it.
