A Cop friend of mine has a trailer.
Just an ordinary looking 6x4 but with a notable accessory.
Seems like a popular size trailer that some people like to
'borrow' for a small job at home.
Fitted to the towbar is what looks like a small locked toolbox.
Hidden inside this box is a car battery and a rowdy (HOO HAA)
fire engine type siren; and the movement detection trigger
switch which also causes the trailer lights to flash.

The local police have successfully used it in after hours
vacant shopping centre car parks as bait for thieves.

How things have changed. As a boy, I could walk into a convenience store with two shillings, and come out with a loaf of bread, a bottle of milk, an ice cream, a pocket full of jelly beans, two bananas and maybe even a chocolate bar. cant do that now, too many cameras!
