Dodged showers and rain all day, very overcast but made for beautiful riding conditions, well for the north anyway.

Stopping every 250k's for fuel for the Suzy is painful, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do.

Calm down, Streak.  There's still SEVEN working days until departure day.
Must go and buy some oil and a filter soon.

What do people use in ST13s?    :grin       :crackup       :runyay

No, there's a law against animals on tanks in Queensland.
But you're allowed to ride two abreast, even though that's probably more dangerous.

But Sabie, "Oils ain't oils, Sol!"  (You're plenty old enough to be a Castrol kid)

Apparently a third can overtake in same lane as well. I just read that today  :eek :eek

Thats because there is nothing in the rules as to how many vehicles may occupy a lane at the same time. Mind you, I prefer staggered formation.  I wonder if one bike passing two bikes is then counted as lane splitting..

OK, got the oil, but it ain't Castrol- using the Shell Helix HX5 again, because I've got left-over from last change.
Also picked up Ryco Z436 filter- now available as Z436HE Platinum for $4 more.  Supposed to be better, and best is just good enough for Ruby.   ++

Needed a new dome light for the Camry.  Of course you have to buy 2 in the pack.  It's a spiv deal, because they last for years and my next car will need a different bulb.  Or if it needs the same one, I will have long lost the second one.    :cuss

"No, there's a law against animals on tanks in Queensland."
Are you implying that ST1100 riders who sit on their fuel tanks are animals?

ST1100 riders are in a class of their own.  Special laws and dispensations apply.

Two of the group I rode  R66 with, Pete and Lis, have an ST1300 and now live in Albury.
I sent them an email about Ballarat the other day and have just heard from them that they will now be joining us.
They are booked into the Eureka Caravan Park as the Goldfields is now full.
Please add their names to the list.
Marcus,
They will get back to me in a day or so about the Friday night meal.
