Spoke to Bernadette at the van park on Monday and she advised that the days have been beautiful (cool but the sun is out) but the nights, well the nights are down right chilly.

Advised to pack something warm to wear around the camp fire Satdee night and don't forget to bring your drinkies.
I think they are as excited about this as we are

Planning on leaving Sydney about 8am which should have us arrive at Gulargambone about 3pm (going up the Putty).

God, I so want the week to end and be there. Looking forward to catching up wif me buddy Diesel and many ST mates....oh and Growly

For anyone interested, a room just around the corner from the Caravan Park, at the Motel, has become available.

2 Single beds - not sure on the $$$ - but would be commensurate with anywhere else similar.

There was a fair amount of flooding through central coast and Newcastle area when I drove home from work late last night.

Weather seems ok down this way and inland, so all should be good. A bit nippy at the moment, a little cloud about but looks nice and clear as the suns gets up. Should be a great day for a ride

Sydney looks ok too, a few clouds about to the South West but this shouldn't be a problem. Radar also looks clear all the way out to Gular. See you all out there
