Two long time friends decide it’s finally time to go on that hike through the alps they’ve always wanted to.
One week into the trek, the first guy starts complaining about his feet, “They’re just so cold!” He says.
His buddy tells him that when his feet are cold he just makes sure that he rubs them bare feet by the fire every night before putting his socks on and going to bed.
His friends thanks him, promising he’ll give it a shot and they keep going with their hike.
One month into the trek, the first guy brings it up again, “I’ve been rubbing my feet every night, but they’re still so cold!”
His buddy tells him that if his feet are still cold he makes sure he triples up his socks.

Three months through the trek, the first guy can’t keep it in anymore, “I’ve been triple socking, but my feet are still just so cold!”
His buddy tells him that if his feet are STILL cold, then he makes sure he scrunches his toes in and out after every step and that always does the trick.

After four months of sloshing through the elements, snow, sleet, wind and blistering cold, the two friends are finally on their last day.
With the end in sight, the first buddy collapses to the floor, looking at his pal and cries, “I’ve tried it all, but my feet are just too cold, I don’t think I can make it to the end!”
His buddy turns back to him and says, “Well, jeeze Phil, no wonder your feet are so bloody cold, you’re wearing sandals!”
