Firstly, Great conversation here peoples good to see people "discussing" this rather than throwing hand grenades.
I am still curious to see anyone who has been genuinely affected by there laws, not second and third hand information, and not some video that the press has got their hands on.
I was speaking with one of the members of the Toowoomba Riders Club today, and he asked me how our club had been affected, and he was surprised when I said it has not affected us at all, when I pressed him none of his club had been affected either to his knowledge.
I have absolutely no issue with being pulled over and asked who I am and what my story is, I have nothing to hide so it does not bother me.
All I know is they are trying to stop bad guys, and I am good with that, the police do a job that none of us would like to do, and stand in the of fire to help us sleep at night, I teach my kids that is why you respect the men and women with a badge, they have to make decisions and deal with people that I hope I never have to.
I have stopped reading media articles about it, because it seems that if they catch news of a sneeze at one end of the street, they will write about the cannonball that was fired by the time they walk the length of the street.....
If you want to get heard, talk to your local member about it instead
