Todays email scams.
As a "Kogan Loyalty customer", I have just won a free Miele tri-flex vacuum cleaner valued at $998.
I have never even visited the site, let alone registered as a customer.
So. their claim that I have won anything is highly suspect.
No, I will not click on the link to supply my confirmation address or details.
Also, I have received many emails from Japan that claim I have filled the ICloud to capacity, and unless I pay them, all my data will be deleted shortly.
This email appears regularly every few months or so.
Oh yeah, and a phone call this morning that I am being investigated over failure to pay tax last year. I left the happy soul with an extended umpires whistle blast in his ears.
Keep trying suckers, it helps to break the boredom.
