Started raining in Portland about an hour and a half ago, and has not stopped.
I just emptied 9 mm from my rain gauge and it appears as tho it will continue all night.

... and the rain ceased as suddenly as it started.
13mm in around two hours, and not a drop since.

Bit of rowdy activity outside, Police car has pulled over a car, and are chatting to several people within.
Voices are a bit agitated, and some shouting and swearing going on.
Sometimes, I just wish I could sleep in peace.

All 5 of the people in that car have now been taken away in other police cars.
Free bed and breakfast??
Now I can finish my coffee and go back to bed.
