Just had a phonecall, where the obviously mentally lacking Indian/Pakistani telemarketer greeted me with "Good morning!" @ 10.27 pm

I had my umpires whistle in my hand before I picked up, pre warned by the 'overseas' indicated on the caller ID.

Be awhile before he can hear properly again.

Could've been. Surveys are quite often outsourced to the best price & provider, regardless of state. You may have had an earful of strine abuse after that.

No point in asking me about NSW public transport, as the last time I used a bus was more than 60 years ago, and around 1300 Km west of Sydney. Have never been on a passenger train.
